Armin van Buuren's A State Of Trance 900: 15 massive tracks

A State of Trance, a pilgrimage for trance fans from all around the globe, has evolved from inauspicious beginnings into being the world's largest gathering for devotees and DJs alike.

Year after year, Armin van Buuren’s festival provides the biggest trance DJs in the world and burgeoning talent with the chance to play in front of arguably the most passionate fans in all of dance music. This year's gathering sold out in a matter of days, with 35,000 people travelling to the huge Jaarbeurs venue in Utrecht, The Netherlands for the immense occasion. Some fans travelled thousands of miles from as far as Argentina, Brazil and China to take part in their beloved genre’s most celebrated party.

This year's event was one for the ages, featuring unforgettable sets from the likes of Above & Beyond, Cosmic Gate, Estiva and van Buuren himself, whose set you can revisit here. The festival also saw Above & Beyond and van Buuren debut they're long overdue debut collaborative track, 'Show Me Love'. 

Speaking at a press conference moments before the event began, van Buuren said, “When I first started listening to trance, it hadn't even been given a classification, it was simply known as electronic music.”
