A 19-year-old man was pronounced dead on Sunday after attending California’s HARD Summer Music Festival.

“It is with great sadness that we have learned a festival attendee has passed away following HARD Summer this weekend,” said a statement released by the festival. “We extend our deepest sympathies to the individual’s loved ones, and we ask that you keep them in your thoughts.”

The statement continues: “The health and safety of those who attend our events is HARD’s utmost priority, and we take every measure to create a safe and enjoyable environment. We have no further information at this time, but we encourage the community to come together, support each other, and always look out for one another in light of this tragedy.”

The cause of Andrew Cole Click’s death is yet to be determined, with an autopsy expected to happen soon.

23 other attendees of the festival were hospitalised over the course of the weekend, with the high temperatures of over 37 degrees celsius and other medical issues listed amongst the reasons.

This year’s HARD Summer hosted over 150,000 people across the weekend at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, and featured the likes of Kerri Chandler, Travis Scott and Diplo b2b Dillon Francis.
